Long-form useBethany White moved to Rhode Island in 2007 to join CVS and made Rumford her home. Over more than eight years in Store Design and Category Management, she managed businesses worth hundreds of millions of dollars, negotiated with national suppliers, and worked with teams across the company to solve problems and build long-term plans.
The relationships mattered as much as the numbers. Strong partnerships came from preparation, trust, and keeping commitments.
Today Bethany owns Bountiful Yards, LLC. Running a small business has reinforced the importance of planning, customer service, and careful decisions. Every dollar matters. Every customer matters. Every decision has consequences.
For ten years, she also served as Treasurer of Troop 55 Riverside. The work required accurate records, responsible budgeting, and making sure resources were available when families needed them.
Bethany is a graduate of the University of Georgia and the mother of four children. Each followed a different educational path. That experience shaped her belief that good decisions start with listening and understanding the circumstances. One answer does not work for every family, neighborhood, or resident.
After nearly twenty years in Rumford, Bethany wants to put her background to work for the city she loves. She believes East Providence can make better decisions, spend in line with its priorities, and make sure its actions reflect the values residents share.
Campaign Philosophy
Good Information. Better Decisions.
Start with the facts. Listen to residents. Understand the tradeoffs. Plan for the long term. Explain the decision.
